Jeb is no stranger to politics. His father and brother have both held the office of the President of the United States, and this year he hopes to do the same. Jeb grew up and attended college in Texas. A fluent Spanish speaker, Jeb taught English in Leon, Mexico when he was only 17 years old. He later moved to Florida to pursue a career in real estate. He won his first bid for public office as Governor of Florida in 1998 after being narrowly defeated in 1994. In 2014, after two terms as Governor, Bush announced his plan to follow in the footsteps of his father and brother by runinng for the office of the President.
Bush's economic plan is centered around tax reform and reducing regulation. If elected, Bush would seek to reduce economic and environmental regulations on carbon and coal and repeal or reform economically restrictive rules and regulations.[1]
If elected, Jeb Bush would repeal or reform rules such as the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and the Waters of the U.S. rule.[1]
