About Hillary

74 years old

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois

The eldest of three children, Hillary grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois. As a teenager, she became interested in politics and was involved with Republican groups. Hillary became a Democrat only a few years later. At the beginning of her political career, Hillary was a member of the presidential impeachment inquiry staff and worked on former president Jimmy Carter's election campaign. She went on to lead a successful career as a lawyer before becoming First Lady when her husband Bill was elected president in 1992. In 2007, she made her own run at the presidency but failed to win the Democratic nomination. Now in 2016, she'll make a second attempt at becoming the first female President of the United States.
